Art Start at Butler Gallery is an art programme suitable for 5-12 year olds. The programme begins with a look at work from our collection and exhibitions where children are encouraged to share their thoughts, ideas and opinions about selected these works. After this, they have an opportunity to make their own work in response.

Facilitated by professional artists, children are encouraged to express their opinions, learn about art and use a variety of interesting and exciting materials to create their own art works.
