Traditional Ukrainian Egg Painting & Symbolism
with Анна Константинова

  • Arrow Saturday 19th April

Join us for a unique and creative workshop where you'll learn the ancient art of egg painting, inspired by traditional techniques. Using melted wax and a special tool called a pisachok, you'll create intricate designs on eggs, which are then dipped in ink to reveal beautiful patterns. This workshop focuses on the rich symbolism and meanings behind the signs and motifs used in this art form. As an expert in symbols Анна Константинова will guide you in understanding how each symbol carries its own cultural and spiritual significance.

The use of candles and wax is a traditional part of the process. After the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to explore this craft further. Come and discover the art of storytelling through symbols, with a hands-on experience that’s both creative and meaningful!
