Selskar Strings bring their new concert Awakening to the Butler Gallery this May, celebrating Bealtaine with an evening of live music by candlelight. 

Performed by string trio, the programme will feature film music by composers such as Howard Shore and James Horner, favourite classics by the Beatles and Abba alongside modern pop hits from Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Chappell Roan, celebrating the arrival of summer with themes of light, renewal and new beginnings.
