National Drawing Day - Plein Air Painting Workshop

Join artist Rachel Burke on National Drawing Day for Plein Air Painting in the gardens of Butler Gallery.

The workshop will include experimentation on paper, using pencil, pens, charcoal, pastels, watercolours and acrylic inks on paper.

Rachel will guide participants through observational drawing from nature, creating mark marking and documenting what you see, combining it with a personal response to nature. Creating a layered image of immersive experience in the garden and surrounding area around the gallery.

This class is open to all artistic skill levels.

2 Workshops, Class size limited to 10 people.,

National Drawing Day is an annual celebration of drawing and creativity, an initiative of the National Gallery of Ireland and is co-hosted by dozens of partner venues around the island of Ireland.
