Butler Gallery is proud to be the host venue for this year’s Kilkenny Pride Family Fun Day and to be the final destination of the Kilkenny Pride Parade, a joyful and inclusive celebration of community and creativity.

Following a vibrant march through the city centre, beginning at the Parade from 1:00 PM, the Kilkenny Pride Parade will conclude at Butler Gallery. From 2:00 PM, we invite you to join us for an afternoon of family-friendly fun, with live music, performances, and a celebration of togetherness for all ages.

A celebration of local talent will feature performers in music, poetry, and more. There will be further live entertainment on the day, including a face painter, bubble fun, and a captivating silks performer, creating a fun, festive atmosphere for all ages.

Bring a blanket or a picnic mat and settle into the gardens at Butler Gallery to enjoy the entertainment. The Wildflower Cafe will sell snack packs for children and young people alongside its usual tasty offerings on the day.

Butler Gallery is honoured to support and celebrate our diverse community. This event is an exciting occasion for the city, and we are delighted to welcome the parade participants and many more friends, family members, and allies throughout the afternoon.
