DriftLab: make music by drifting through nature. A hands-on session with Tasneem Khan. After this you will treat every walk like a living transect, every leaf, stone and stem you meet becomes a beat. Touch the world, and it answers back.

What to expect:

  • Playtronica turns touch and the tiny electric fields of plants and objects into live sound.Learn to compose some fun dance music with Mark White (from the KingKong Company!)
  • Unusual macro lenses clip to your phone so you can film the hidden worlds underfoot.
  • Build it into your own music and video — sounds, impressions and footage, mixed live.
  • Participate in the creation of a petri dish artwork that represents the shifting temperatures we are witnessing

For ages 13-17 years
