Join us at Butler Gallery on Friday September 19th to celebrate Culture Night 2025!

This celebratory evening is filled with fun activities and entertainment for the whole family! Enjoy late night entry to Butler Gallery and explore our exciting new exhibition, Cities of the World, featuring the work of Kathy Prendergast and Chris Leach.

The evening will also include a kids’ map-making workshop, performance art in the gallery, and live music to round out the entertainment.

Butler Gallery Culture Night 2025 Programme:

  • 5.00pm - 7.00pm: Artist Tom Duffy will lead a children's map-making workshop taking place in our Learning Centre.
  • 5.00pm - 6.00pm: A free drop-in guided tour of Butler Gallery's important collection of Irish Art.
  • 5.30pm - 6.30pm: Ukrainian language tour of our new exhibit "Cities of the World".
  • 6.00pm - 7.00pm: A live performance of "Trout". A story by Hello Operator, written by Daniel Montague O'Brien, directed by Sarah Joan K.
  • 7.00pm - 9.00pm: An evening of music headlined by Oracle Villa and supported by The Niks.
  • 7.30pm - 8.30pm: "Line, light and life through Jane O’Malleys work" - Talk by Orla Ryan.
