A full day course led by artist Caroline Schofield with life drawing model Jeff, an artist with life modelling experience, who loves to explore movement through dynamic poses.
The Life Drawing class is suitable for beginners and those looking to develop their drawing skills. Participants will work from a live model, exploring line, form and movement. The structure of the class, will look at developing drawings using short and long poses, giving participants time to observe the model and develop their own drawing process.
This is an over 18s event with no exceptions. The live model will be nude or partially clothed.
About:
Caroline Schofield lives and works in Kilkenny. She studied Textiles in NCAD and received a 1st Class MA in Art & Process from Crawford College of Art & Design in 2015. Caroline has a multidisciplinary practice and is a member of the Butler Gallery Artist Panel.
Her current work focuses on materials to form a mediation with people on memory. She is particularly interested in participatory and collaborative art and health work and has collaborated with artists, women’s and children’s groups in this capacity.
