Butler Gallery has an extensive and important collection of 20th century Irish art including work by Louis le Brocquy, Mainie Jellett, Patrick Scott, Paul Henry, Evie Hone and many more. When you become a patron of Butler Gallery either as an individual or as a corporate partner you will receive work from our collection to hang privately or in your workplace. We are delighted to be able to offer this amazing benefit to our supporting patrons who are the lifeblood of our organisation and enable us to carry out the work we do.

Patron €1,250

All of the benefits of a Benefactor, plus:

    • **Loan of 1 work from the Butler Gallery Collection
    • Invitation to private events with Artists and Gallery Director
    • Four guest Invitations to all Butler Gallery Friend Events

Curators' Circle €2,500

All the benefits of a Patron plus:

    • **Loan of 2 works from the Butler Gallery Collection
    • ***Use of Butler Gallery for private event

**Patron and Curators Circle artwork loans are subject to certain conditions. Butler Gallery may on occasion need to retrieve work on loan for exhibitions. Artwork retrieved can be replaced by comparable pieces.

***Curators Circle private events relate to the use of the space only and are subject to agreement with Butler Gallery.

How you can increase your donation amount at no extra cost to you

Butler Gallery can reclaim up to 44.9% in tax from revenue on donations of €250 or more made by individuals, making your donation grow significantly which is of huge benefit to Butler Gallery in supporting artists and audiences, with no additional cost to you.

Your generous donation of €1,250 can grow to €1811.25 when you claim an extra €561.25 in tax back from the Revenue Department on your donation. All you need to do is sign and return a CHY3 tax back form to Rebecca Reynolds, Development Director, Butler Gallery, Evans' Home. John's Quay, Kilkenny or via email to [email protected]

Confidentiality: Your details will remain completely confidential to Butler Gallery and the Revenue Commissioners. The information will not be used for anything other than the tax claim. You don’t need to tell Butler Gallery how much tax you pay and we don’t even need to know whether you are PAYE or self-assessed or what tax rate you pay.
