Slow Art Day is a global event with a mission to help people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art. Over 100 museums internationally take part in this event.

Artist Caroline Schofield will support participants to explore their impressions and responses to the works of Helen Hughes, in an interactive discussion.

Places are limited, booking is required.

About the Artist:

Caroline Schofield is a Visual Artist who studied Textiles in the National College of Art; Design, Dublin and completed a Masters in Art; Process in Crawford College of Art; Design, Cork. Her work explores reciprocity of skill sharing, ideas and stories in a participatory and collaborative Arts; Health Practice. Working with Waterford Healing Arts Trust she has developed Open Gallery, an ongoing project showing University Hospital Waterford’s Art Collection to patients and nursing homes. In 2020 with WHAT she developed Art at the Kitchen Table an art intervention for people unable to leave their own homes. Caroline facilitates the Azure Project for Butler Gallery. Her work is in private and public collections.
