If you have budding animators in your household between the ages of 10 – 14 years then our Spring animation workshops are just what they need to develop their skills. Taking our current exhibition ‘Wolfwalkers: The Exhibition’ as a source of inspiration, children get to analyse how characters are developed for a film in 2D format and with the encouragement of artist Gráinne Rose Fordham bring their own character ideas to life by learning the basic principles of animation. Gráinne was the layout artist for the film WolfWalkers, the latest production by award winning animation studio Cartoon Saloon. She is artist-in-residence at Butler Gallery for Spring 2021. Places are limited so make sure to reserve your place here.
Choose from one of the following dates. All workshops will be delivered via Zoom from 2pm-3pm:
- Sunday March 7
- Sunday March 14
- Sunday March 28
