Two art and writing workshops considering how as an older person you are perceived by others, in contrast to the way you see yourself.

With Artist Caroline Schofield and Poet & Writer Lani O’Hanlon.

In this creative exploration we will use images from Butler Gallery’s collection as a starting point for our discussion. Lani will lead simple writing practices that explore the sensuality of being in a body and our connection and relationship with the natural world. This will lead to a visual session led by Caroline where we will play with imagery and portraiture inspired by our writing and discussion.

You will need some simple materials to hand; paper, pen, pencils, glue, mobile phone and access to Zoom for the two online live workshops.

You do not need any previous experience to attend.

Dates: Tuesday May 11th & 18th 2021
Time: 11am to 1pm including tea/coffee break
